كتاب البيوع
Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : J’étais avec le Prophète (ﷺ) alors qu’il mangeait des dattes fraîches. Il a dit : « Parmi les arbres, il y en a un qui ressemble au croyant fidèle. » Je voulais dire que c’était le palmier-dattier, mais j’étais le plus jeune parmi eux (alors je me suis tu). Il a ajouté : « C’est le palmier-dattier. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهْوَ يَأْكُلُ جُمَّارًا، فَقَالَ " مِنَ الشَّجَرِ شَجَرَةٌ كَالرَّجُلِ الْمُؤْمِنِ ". فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُولَ هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ. فَإِذَا أَنَا أَحْدَثُهُمْ قَالَ " هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was eating fresh dates. He said, "From the trees there is a tree which resembles a faithful believer." I wanted to say that it was the date palm, but I was the youngest among them (so I kept quiet). He added, "It is the date palm
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابوالولید ہشام بن عبدالملک سے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوبشر نے، ان سے مجاہد نے، اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھجور کا گابھا کھا رہے تھے۔ اسی وقت آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ درختوں میں ایک درخت مرد مومن کی مثال ہے میرے دل میں آیا کہ کہوں کہ یہ کھجور کا درخت ہے، لیکن حاضرین میں، میں ہی سب سے چھوٹی عمر کا تھا ( اس لیے بطور ادب میں چپ رہا ) پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خود ہی فرمایا کہ وہ کھجور کا درخت ہے۔
