Rapporté par `Aisha : Je n’ai pas vu le Prophète (ﷺ) réciter le Coran pendant la prière de nuit en étant assis, sauf quand il est devenu âgé. À ce moment-là, il récitait assis, puis quand il restait trente ou quarante versets de la sourate, il se levait, les récitait debout, puis s’inclinait

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي شَىْءٍ مِنْ صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ جَالِسًا، حَتَّى إِذَا كَبِرَ قَرَأَ جَالِسًا، فَإِذَا بَقِيَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ السُّورَةِ ثَلاَثُونَ أَوْ أَرْبَعُونَ آيَةً قَامَ فَقَرَأَهُنَّ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Aisha:I did not see the Prophet (ﷺ) reciting (the Qur'an) in the night prayer while sitting except when he became old; when he used to recite while sitting, and when thirty or forty verses remained from the Sura, he would get up and recite them and then bow
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمد بن مثنی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید قطان نے بیان کیا اور انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ہشام بن عروہ نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے میرے باپ عروہ نے خبر دی کہ عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بتلایا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو رات کی کسی نماز میں بیٹھ کر قرآن پڑھتے نہیں دیکھا۔ یہاں تک کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بوڑھے ہو گئے تو بیٹھ کر قرآن پڑھتے تھے لیکن جب تیس چالیس آیتیں رہ جاتیں تو کھڑے ہو جاتے پھر اس کو پڑھ کر رکوع کرتے تھے۔
