Rapporté par Abu Huraira : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : « Nous (les musulmans) sommes les derniers (à venir) mais (nous serons) les premiers au Jour de la Résurrection, même si les nations précédentes ont reçu les Écritures Saintes avant nous. Et c’était leur jour (le vendredi), dont la célébration leur avait été rendue obligatoire, mais ils ont divergé à ce sujet. Alors Allah nous a guidés vers ce jour (le vendredi) et tous les autres peuples sont derrière nous à ce sujet : le jour sacré des Juifs est demain (c’est-à-dire samedi) et celui des Chrétiens est après-demain (c’est-à-dire dimanche). »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ هُرْمُزَ الأَعْرَجَ، مَوْلَى رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " نَحْنُ الآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، بَيْدَ أَنَّهُمْ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا، ثُمَّ هَذَا يَوْمُهُمُ الَّذِي فُرِضَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ، فَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ، فَالنَّاسُ لَنَا فِيهِ تَبَعٌ، الْيَهُودُ غَدًا وَالنَّصَارَى بَعْدَ غَدٍ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "We (Muslims) are the last (to come) but (will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection though the former nations were given the Holy Scriptures before us. And this was their day (Friday) the celebration of which was made compulsory for them but they differed about it. So Allah gave us the guidance for it (Friday) and all the other people are behind us in this respect: the Jews' (holy day is) tomorrow (i.e. Saturday) and the Christians' (is) the day after tomorrow (i.e. Sunday)

ہم سے ابوالیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہمیں شعیب نے خبر دی، کہا کہ ہم سے ابوالزناد نے بیان کیا، ان سے ربیعہ بن حارث کے غلام عبدالرحمٰن بن ہرمز اعرج نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا اور آپ رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ نے فرمایا کہ ہم دنیا میں تمام امتوں کے بعد ہونے کے باوجود قیامت میں سب سے آگے رہیں گے فرق صرف یہ ہے کہ کتاب انہیں ہم سے پہلے دی گئی تھی۔ یہی ( جمعہ ) ان کا بھی دن تھا جو تم پر فرض ہوا ہے۔ لیکن ان کا اس کے بارے میں اختلاف ہوا اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمیں یہ دن بتا دیا اس لیے لوگ اس میں ہمارے تابع ہوں گے۔ یہود دوسرے دن ہوں گے اور نصاریٰ تیسرے دن۔
