Rapporté par Al-Nawwas b. Sim’an al-Kilabi رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a parlé du Dajjal (l’Antéchrist) en disant : « S’il apparaît alors que je suis parmi vous, c’est moi qui discuterai avec lui à votre place. Mais s’il apparaît quand je ne suis plus là, chacun devra se défendre lui-même, et Allah prendra soin de chaque musulman à ma place. Ceux d’entre vous qui vivront à son époque devront réciter sur lui les premiers versets de la sourate al-Kahf, car ils vous protègeront de son épreuve. » Nous avons demandé : « Combien de temps restera-t-il sur terre ? » Il a répondu : « Quarante jours : un jour comme une année, un jour comme un mois, un jour comme une semaine, et le reste de ses jours comme les vôtres. » Nous avons demandé : « Ô Messager d’Allah, un seul jour de prière suffira-t-il pour ce jour qui sera comme une année ? » Il a répondu : « Non, vous devrez en estimer la durée. » Ensuite, Jésus fils de Marie descendra au minaret blanc à l’est de Damas. Il le rattrapera alors à la porte de Ludd et le tuera

حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ الْمُؤَذِّنُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَابِرٍ الطَّائِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّوَّاسِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ الْكِلاَبِيِّ، قَالَ ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الدَّجَّالَ فَقَالَ " إِنْ يَخْرُجْ وَأَنَا فِيكُمْ فَأَنَا حَجِيجُهُ دُونَكُمْ وَإِنْ يَخْرُجْ وَلَسْتُ فِيكُمْ فَامْرُؤٌ حَجِيجُ نَفْسِهِ وَاللَّهُ خَلِيفَتِي عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَهُ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَقْرَأْ عَلَيْهِ فَوَاتِحَ سُورَةِ الْكَهْفِ فَإِنَّهَا جِوَارُكُمْ مِنْ فِتْنَتِهِ " . قُلْنَا وَمَا لُبْثُهُ فِي الأَرْضِ قَالَ " أَرْبَعُونَ يَوْمًا يَوْمٌ كَسَنَةٍ وَيَوْمٌ كَشَهْرٍ وَيَوْمٌ كَجُمُعَةٍ وَسَائِرُ أَيَّامِهِ كَأَيَّامِكُمْ " . فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي كَسَنَةٍ أَتَكْفِينَا فِيهِ صَلاَةُ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ قَالَ " لاَ اقْدُرُوا لَهُ قَدْرَهُ ثُمَّ يَنْزِلُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ عِنْدَ الْمَنَارَةِ الْبَيْضَاءِ شَرْقِيَّ دِمَشْقَ فَيُدْرِكُهُ عِنْدَ بَابِ لُدٍّ فَيَقْتُلُهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Al-nawwas b. Sim’an al-Kilabi said:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mentioned the Dajjal (Antichrist) saying: If he comes forth while I am among you I shall be the one who will dispute with him on your behalf, but if he comes forth when I am not among you, a man must dispute on his own behalf, and Allah will take my place in looking after every Muslim. Those of you who live up to his time should recite over him the opening verses of Surat al – Kahf, for they are your protection from his trial. We asked: How long will he remain on the earth ? He replied : Forty days, one like a year, one like a month, one like a week, and rest of his days like yours. We asked : Messenger of Allah, will one day’s prayer suffice us in this day which will be like a year ? He replied : No, you must make an estimate of its extent. Then Jesus son of Marry will descend at the white minaret to the east of Damascus. He will then catch him up at the date of Ludd and kill him

نواس بن سمعان کلابی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دجال کا ذکر کیا تو فرمایا: اگر وہ ظاہر ہوا اور میں تم میں موجود رہا تو تمہارے بجائے میں اس سے جھگڑوں گا، اور اگر وہ ظاہر ہوا اور میں تم میں نہیں رہا تو آدمی خود اس سے نپٹے گا، اور اللہ ہی ہر مسلمان کے لیے میرا خلیفہ ہے، پس تم میں سے جو اس کو پائے تو اس پر سورۃ الکہف کی ابتدائی آیتیں پڑھے کیونکہ یہ تمہیں اس کے فتنے سے بچائیں گی ۔ ہم نے عرض کیا: وہ کتنے دنوں تک زمین پر رہے گا؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: چالیس دن تک، اس کا ایک دن ایک سال کے برابر ہو گا، اور ایک دن ایک مہینہ کے، اور ایک دن ایک ہفتہ کے، اور باقی دن تمہارے اور دنوں کی طرح ہوں گے ۔ تو ہم نے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! جو دن ایک سال کے برابر ہو گا، کیا اس میں ایک دن اور رات کی نماز ہمارے لیے کافی ہوں گی؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہیں، تم اس دن اندازہ کر لینا، اور اسی حساب سے نماز پڑھنا، پھر عیسیٰ بن مریم علیہ السلام دمشق کے مشرق میں سفید منارہ کے پاس اتریں گے، اور اسے ( یعنی دجال کو ) باب لد ۱؎ کے پاس پائیں گے اور وہیں اسے قتل کر دیں گے ۔
