كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، وَأَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلاَةَ، رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا مَنْكِبَيْهِ، وَإِذَا رَكَعَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ. وَلاَ يَرْفَعُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ .

Traducción al inglés
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:“I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raising his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders when he started the prayer, and when he bowed in Ruku’, and when he raised his head from Ruku’, but he did not raise them between the two prostrations.”
Traducción al urdu
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ جب آپ نماز شروع کرتے تو اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھاتے یہاں تک کہ آپ ان دونوں ہاتھوں کو اپنے کندھوں کے مقابل لے جاتے، اور جب رکوع میں جاتے، اور جب رکوع سے اپنا سر اٹھاتے، ( تو بھی اسی طرح ہاتھ اٹھاتے رفع یدین کرتے ) اور دونوں سجدوں کے درمیان آپ ہاتھ نہ اٹھاتے ۱؎۔
