Hadith 1395 — Buch 14: The Book of Jumu'ah (Friday Prayer)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَقَدْ خَرَجَ الإِمَامُ فَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " . قَالَ شُعْبَةُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ .

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی ( مسجد ) آئے اور امام ( خطبہ کے لیے ) نکل چکا ہو ۱؎ تو چاہیئے کہ وہ دو رکعت پڑھ لے ۔ شعبہ کی روایت میں ہے: جب تم میں سے کوئی جمعہ کے دن آئے ۔
