Hadith 91 — Buch 0: The Book of the Sunnah

It was narrated that Suraqah bin Ju'shum said:"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), is one's deed in that which has already dried of the Pen and what has passed of the Divine Decree, or is it in the future?' He said: 'No, it is in that which he already dried of the Pen and what has passed of the Divine Decree, and each person is facilitated for what he has been created

سراقہ بن جعشم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ اعمال جو انسان سے صادر ہوتے ہیں آیا اس تقدیر کے مطابق ہوتے ہیں جس کو لکھ کر قلم خشک ہو چکا ہے، اور جو جاری ہو چکی ہے؟ یا ایسے امر کے مطابق ہوتے ہیں جو آگے ہونے والا ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہیں، بلکہ اسی تقدیر کے مطابق ہوتے ہیں جس کو قلم لکھ کر خشک ہو چکا ہے، اور جو جاری ہو چکی ہے، اور پھر ایک شخص کے لیے اس کی تقدیر کے مطابق وہی کام آسان کر دیا جاتا ہے جس کے لیے وہ پیدا کیا گیا ہے ۔
