كتاب فضائل الجهاد
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَبِي أَيُّوبَ وَأَنَسٍ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Englische Übersetzung
Narrated Sahl bin Sa'd As-Sa'idi: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah is better that the world and what is in it. And the place (the size) of a whip in Paradise is better than the world and what is in it." [Abu 'Eisa said:] There are narrations on this topic from Abu Hurairah, Ibn 'Abbas, Abu Ayyub, and Anas. This Hadith is Hasan Sahih
Urdu-Übersetzung
سہل بن سعد ساعدی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”راہ جہاد کی ایک صبح دنیا اور دنیا کی ساری چیزوں سے بہتر ہے اور جنت کی ایک کوڑے ۱؎ کی جگہ دنیا اور اس کی ساری چیزوں سے بہتر ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ، ابن عباس، ابوایوب اور انس رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
