كتاب فضائل الجهاد
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ أَرْوَاحَ الشُّهَدَاءِ فِي طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ تَعْلُقُ مِنْ ثَمَرَةِ الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Englische Übersetzung
Narrated Ka'b bin Malik: From his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The souls of the martyrs are in green birds, suspended from the fruit of Paradise, or the trees of Paradise." [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih
Urdu-Übersetzung
کعب بن مالک رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”شہداء کی روحیں ( جنت میں ) سبز پرندوں کی شکل میں ہیں، جو جنت کے پھلوں یا درختوں سے کھاتی چرتی ہیں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
