Hadith 2543 — Buch 23: The Book of Zakah
كتاب الزكاة
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُوسَى بْنَ طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّ حَكِيمَ بْنَ حِزَامٍ، حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَفْضَلُ الصَّدَقَةِ مَا كَانَ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ " .

Englische Übersetzung
Hakim bin Hizam said:"The Messenger of Allah said: "The best kind of charity is that which is given when you are rich, and the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and start with those for whom you are responsible
Urdu-Übersetzung
حکیم بن حزام رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بہترین صدقہ وہ ہے جو مالداری کی پشت سے ہو ( یعنی مالداری باقی رکھتے ہوئے ہو ) ، اور اوپر والا ہاتھ ( دینے والا ہاتھ ) نیچے والے ہاتھ ( لینے والا ہاتھ ) سے بہتر ہے، اور پہلے صدقہ انہیں دو جن کی تم کفالت کرتے ہو“۔
