كتاب الزكاة
أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ - عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ، قَالَ قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَائِمٌ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ " يَدُ الْمُعْطِي الْعُلْيَا وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ أُمَّكَ وَأَبَاكَ وَأُخْتَكَ وَأَخَاكَ ثُمَّ أَدْنَاكَ أَدْنَاكَ " . مُخْتَصَرٌ .

It was narrated that Tariq Al-Muharibi said:"We came to Al-Madinah and the Messenger of Allah was standing on the Minbar addressing the people and saying: 'The hand which gives is the upper hand. Start with those for whom you are responsible; your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, then the next closest, and the next closet
Urdu-Übersetzung
طارق محاربی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم مدینہ آئے تو کیا دیکھتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر کھڑے خطبہ دے رہے ہیں آپ فرما رہے ہیں: دینے والے کا ہاتھ اوپر والا ہے، اور پہلے انہیں دو جن کی کفالت و نگہداشت کی ذمہ داری تم پر ہو: پہلے اپنی ماں کو، پھر اپنے باپ کو، پھر اپنی بہن کو، پھر اپنے بھائی کو، پھر اپنے قریبی کو، پھر اس کے بعد کے قریبی کو۔ یہ حدیث ایک لمبی حدیث کا اختصار ہے۔
