كتاب الصيام
أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو قِلاَبَةَ الْجَرْمِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيَّ، حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّهُ، قَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَقَالَ " انْتَظِرِ الْغَدَاءَ يَا أَبَا أُمَيَّةَ " . قُلْتُ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ . قَالَ " ادْنُ أُخْبِرْكَ عَنِ الْمُسَافِرِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَضَعَ عَنْهُ الصِّيَامَ وَنِصْفَ الصَّلاَةِ " .

Englische Übersetzung
Abu Qilabah AL-Jarmi narrated that Abu Umayyah Ad-Damri told them that:he came to the Messenger of Allah from a journey and he said: "Come and have a meal for breakfast, O Abu Umayyah." I said: 'I am fasting; He said: 'Come close and I will tell you about the traveler. Allah, most high, has waived fasting and half of the prayer for him
Urdu-Übersetzung
ابوقلابہ جرمی کا بیان ہے کہ ان سے ابوامیہ ضمری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ وہ ایک سفر سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، آپ نے ان سے کہا: ”ابوامیہ! دوپہر کے کھانے کا انتظار کر لو“ ( کھا کر چلے جانا ) میں نے کہا: میں روزے سے ہوں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”قریب آؤ، میں مسافر کے بارے میں تمہیں بتاتا ہوں: اللہ نے اس سے روزے کی چھوٹ دے دی ہے، اور نماز آدھی کر دی ہے“۔
