كتاب قيام الليل والنوافل
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِتِسْعٍ وَيَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ .

Englische Übersetzung
It was narrated from Aishah that:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray witr with nine and pray two rak'ahs sitting down

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نو رکعت وتر پڑھتے تھے، اور دو رکعت بیٹھ کر پڑھتے تھے۔
