Hadith 1537 — Buch 42: Drinks

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that as-Sa'ib ibn Yazid informed him that Umar ibn al-Khattab came out to them. He said, "I have found the smell of wine on so-and-so, and he claimed that it was the drink of boiled fruit juice, and I am inquiring about what he has drunk. If it intoxicates, I will flog him." سائب بن یزید سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عمر بن خطاب نکلے اور کہا میں نے فلانے کے منہ سے شراب کی بو پائی وہ کہتا ہے میں طلا (انگور کے شیرے کو اتنا پکایا جائے کہ وہ گاڑھا ہو جائے مثلا دو ثلث جل جائے ایک ثلث رہ جائے) پی اور میں پوچھتا ہوں کہ اگر اس میں نشہ ہے تو اس کو حد ماروں گا حضرت عمر نے اس کو پوری حد لگائی ۔
