كتاب فضائل الصحابة
حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الأَوْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَخْلَدٍ - حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ بِلاَلٍ - حَدَّثَنِي سُهَيْلٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ هَذَا سَوَاءً .

This hadith has been reported on the authority of Abu Huraira with the same chain of transmitters

سہیل ( بن ابی صالح ) نے اپنے والد سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرۃ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ، انھوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے معمر کی حدیث کے مانند روایت کی ۔
