Rapporté par Safwan b. Ya'la : Un homme a mordu le bras du serviteur de Ya'la b. Munya. Il a retiré son bras et la dent de devant de l’autre est tombée. L’affaire fut soumise au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, qui la rejeta et dit : « Aviez-vous l’intention de mordre sa main comme le fait un chameau ? »

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى، أَنَّ أَجِيرًا، لِيَعْلَى ابْنِ مُنْيَةَ عَضَّ رَجُلٌ ذِرَاعَهُ فَجَذَبَهَا فَسَقَطَتْ ثَنِيَّتُهُ فَرُفِعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَبْطَلَهَا وَقَالَ " أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَقْضَمَهَا كَمَا يَقْضَمُ الْفَحْلُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Safwan b. Ya'la reported that a person bit the arm of the servant of Ya'la b. Munya. He pulled it and his foretooth fell. The matter was referred to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and he turned it down and said:Did you intend to bite his hand, as the camel bites?

بدیل نے عطاء بن ابی رباح سے اور انہوں نے صفوان بن یعلیٰ سے روایت کی کہ یعلیٰ بن منیہ رضی اللہ عنہ کا ایک ملازم تھا کسی آدمی نے اس کی کلائی کو دانتوں سے کاٹا ، اس نے اسے کھینچا تو اس کا سامنے والا دانت گر گیا ، معاملہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تک لایا گیا تو آپ نے اسے رائیگاں قرار دیا اور فرمایا : " تم چاہتے تھے کہ اسے ( اس کی کلائی کو اس طرح ) چبا ڈالو جس طرح سانڈ چناتا ہے ۔
