Rapporté par Imran b. Husain : Un homme a mordu la main d’un autre. Celui-ci a retiré sa main et une ou plusieurs dents de devant de l’autre sont tombées. L’homme qui avait perdu ses dents porta l’affaire devant le Messager d’Allah ﷺ, qui dit : « Que veux-tu que je fasse ? Veux-tu que j’ordonne à l’autre de mettre sa main dans ta bouche et que tu la mordes comme un chameau ? (Si tu veux une représaille, la seule façon serait) que tu mettes ta main dans sa bouche, qu’il la morde et que tu la retires. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ النَّوْفَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قُرَيْشُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ، بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، عَضَّ يَدَ رَجُلٍ فَانْتَزَعَ يَدَهُ فَسَقَطَتْ ثَنِيَّتُهُ أَوْ ثَنَايَاهُ فَاسْتَعْدَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا تَأْمُرُنِي تَأْمُرُنِي أَنْ آمُرَهُ أَنْ يَدَعَ يَدَهُ فِي فِيكَ تَقْضَمُهَا كَمَا يَقْضَمُ الْفَحْلُ ادْفَعْ يَدَكَ حَتَّى يَعَضَّهَا ثُمَّ انْتَزِعْهَا " .
Traduction anglaise
Imran b. Husain reported that a person bit the hand of a person. He withdrew his hand and his foretooth or foreteeth fell down. He (the man who lost his teeth) referred the matter to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he said, What do you want me to do? Do you ask me that I should order him to put his hand in your mouth, and you should bite it as the camel bites? (If you want retaliation, then the only way out is) that you put your hand in his mouth (allow him) to bite that and then draw it away

محمد بن سیرین نے حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ ایک آدمی نے دوسرے آدمی کے ہاتھ کو دانتوں سے کاٹا ، اس نے اپنا ہاتھ کھینچا تو اس کا سامنے والا ایک یا دو دانت گر گئے ، اس پر اس نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے فریاد کی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " تم مجھ سے کیا کہتے ہو؟ تم مجھے یہ کہتے ہو کہ میں اسے یہ کہوں : وہ اپنا ہاتھ تمہارے منہ میں دیا اور تم اس طرح اسے چباؤ جس طرح سانڈ چباتا ہے؟ تم بھی اپنا ہاتھ ( اس کے منہ کی طرف ) بڑھاؤ حتی کہ وہ اسے کاٹنے لگے ، پھر تم اسے کھینچ لینا
