كتاب الاعتصام بالكتاب والسنة
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Un bédouin est venu voir le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) et a dit : « Ma femme a donné naissance à un garçon noir, et je soupçonne qu'il n'est pas mon enfant. » Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) lui a demandé : « As-tu des chameaux ? » Le bédouin a répondu : « Oui. » Le Prophète a dit : « De quelle couleur sont-ils ? » Le bédouin a répondu : « Ils sont rouges. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Y en a-t-il des gris parmi eux ? » Il a répondu : « Oui, il y en a des gris. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « D'où penses-tu que cette couleur leur vient ? » Le bédouin a dit : « Ô Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) ! C'est à cause de l'hérédité. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Eh bien, ton enfant a hérité sa couleur de ses ancêtres. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) ne lui a pas permis de renier la paternité de l'enfant

حَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا، أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي وَلَدَتْ غُلاَمًا أَسْوَدَ، وَإِنِّي أَنْكَرْتُهُ. فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ إِبِلٍ ". قَالَ نَعَمْ. قَالَ " فَمَا أَلْوَانُهَا ". قَالَ حُمْرٌ. قَالَ " هَلْ فِيهَا مِنْ أَوْرَقَ ". قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لَوُرْقًا. قَالَ " فَأَنَّى تُرَى ذَلِكَ جَاءَهَا ". قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عِرْقٌ نَزَعَهَا. قَالَ " وَلَعَلَّ هَذَا عِرْقٌ نَزَعَهُ ". وَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ لَهُ فِي الاِنْتِفَاءِ مِنْهُ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:A bedouin came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "My wife has delivered a black boy, and I suspect that he is not my child." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him, "Have you got camels?" The bedouin said, "Yes." The Prophet said, "What color are they?" The bedouin said, "They are red." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Are any of them Grey?" He said, "There are Grey ones among them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whence do you think this color came to them?" The bedouin said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! It resulted from hereditary disposition." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "And this (i.e., your child) has inherited his color from his ancestors." The Prophet (ﷺ) did not allow him to deny his paternity of the child

ہم سے اصبغ بن الفرج نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے عبداللہ بن وہب نے بیان کیا، ان سے یونس بن یزید نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ ایک اعرابی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور کہا کہ میری بیوی کے یہاں لڑکا پیدا ہوا ہے جس کو میں اپنا نہیں سمجھتا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا کہ تمہارے پاس اونٹ ہیں؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہیں۔ دریافت کیا کہ ان کے رنگ کیسے ہیں؟ کہا کہ سرخ ہیں۔ پوچھا کہ ان میں کوئی خاکی بھی ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا جی ہاں ان میں خاکی بھی ہیں۔ اس پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا کہ پھر کس طرح تم سمجھتے ہو کہ اس رنگ کا پیدا ہوا؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! کسی رگ نے یہ رنگ کھینچ لیا ہو گا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ممکن ہے اس بچے کا رنگ بھی کسی رگ نے کھینچ لیا ہو؟ اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو بچے کے انکار کرنے کی اجازت نہیں دی۔
