Hadith 7315 — Livre 96: Holding Fast to the Qur'an and Sunnah
كتاب الاعتصام بالكتاب والسنة
Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : Une femme est venue voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et a dit : « Ma mère avait fait le vœu d'accomplir le Hajj, mais elle est morte avant de le faire. Dois-je accomplir le Hajj à sa place ? » Il a répondu : « Oui ! Accomplis le Hajj pour elle. Dis-moi, si ta mère avait une dette, l'aurais-tu payée ? » Elle a répondu : « Oui. » Il a dit : « Alors tu dois aussi t'acquitter de ce qui revient à Allah, car Allah a plus de droit qu'on remplisse ses obligations envers Lui. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، جَاءَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ أُمِّي نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ فَمَاتَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَحُجَّ أَفَأَحُجَّ عَنْهَا قَالَ " نَعَمْ حُجِّي عَنْهَا، أَرَأَيْتِ لَوْ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّكِ دَيْنٌ أَكُنْتِ قَاضِيَتَهُ ". قَالَتْ نَعَمْ. فَقَالَ " فَاقْضُوا الَّذِي لَهُ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَحَقُّ بِالْوَفَاءِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:A woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "My mother vowed to perform the Hajj but she died before performing it. Should I perform the Hajj on her behalf?" He said, "Yes! Perform the Hajj on her behalf. See, if your mother had been in debt, would you have paid her debt?" She said, "Yes." He said, "So you should pay what is for Him as Allah has more right that one should fulfill one's obligations to Him

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوبشر نے، ان سے سعید بن جبیر نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ ایک خاتون رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئیں اور عرض کیا کہ میری والدہ نے حج کرنے کی نذر مانی تھی اور وہ ( ادائیگی سے پہلے ہی ) وفات پا گئیں۔ کیا میں ان کی طرف سے حج کر لوں؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہاں ان کی طرف سے حج کر لو۔ تمہارا کیا خیال ہے، اگر تمہاری والدہ پر قرض ہوتا تو تم اسے پورا کرتیں؟ انہوں نے کہا: جی ہاں۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ پھر اس قرض کو بھی پورا کر جو اللہ تعالیٰ کا ہے کیونکہ اس قرض کا پورا کرنا زیادہ ضروری ہے۔
