Practical parenting
- Teach faith through example and love before instruction.
- Respect both sets of grandparents and family gatherings without compromising belief.
- Agree early on names, circumcision, schooling and halal food.
- Keep disputes calm in front of the children.
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ قُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَأَهۡلِيكُمۡ نَارٗا وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُ عَلَيۡهَا مَلَٰٓئِكَةٌ غِلَاظٞ شِدَادٞ لَّا يَعۡصُونَ ٱللَّهَ مَآ أَمَرَهُمۡ وَيَفۡعَلُونَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُونَ¡Oh, creyentes! Protéjanse a sí mismos y a sus familias del Fuego [del Infierno], cuyo combustible serán los seres humanos y las piedras, y en el que habrá ángeles rigurosos y severos que no desobedecen a Dios en lo que Él les ordena, sino que ejecutan Sus órdenes.
لَّا يَنۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَلَمۡ يُخۡرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمۡ وَتُقۡسِطُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَDios no les prohíbe hacer el bien y tratar con justicia a quienes no los han combatido por causa de la religión ni los han expulsado de sus hogares, porque Dios ama a los que actúan con justicia.
