Rapporté par Al Bara bin Azib : Le Prophète a dit : "Allah affermit ceux qui croient par la parole ferme dans cette vie et dans l’au-delà. Ce verset a été révélé à propos du châtiment dans la tombe. On dira au défunt : 'Qui est ton Seigneur ?' et il répondra : 'Mon Seigneur est Allah et mon Prophète est Muhammad.' Voilà le sens de Sa parole : Allah affermit ceux qui croient par la parole ferme dans cette vie et dans l’au-delà

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ { يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ } قَالَ نَزَلَتْ فِي عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ يُقَالُ لَهُ مَنْ رَبُّكَ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ وَدِينِي دِينُ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ { يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ } .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated form Al Bara bin Azib that the Prophet said:"Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the world that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter. This was revelated concerning the torment in the grave. It will be said to him (the deceased: 'Who is your Lord?' and he will say: 'My Lord is Allah and my Prophet is Muhammad. That is what is (the meaning of) His saying: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter
Traduction en ourdou
براء بن عازب رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”آیت کریمہ «يثبت اللہ الذين آمنوا بالقول الثابت في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة» ”اللہ ایمان والوں کو دنیا اور آخرت ( دونوں میں ) ٹھیک بات پر قائم رکھے گا“۔ عذاب قبر کے سلسلے میں اتری ہے۔ میت سے پوچھا جائے گا: تیرا رب کون ہے؟ تو وہ کہے گا: میرا رب اللہ ہے، میرا دین محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا دین ہے۔ اللہ کے قول: «يثبت اللہ الذين آمنوا بالقول الثابت في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة» سے یہی مراد ہے“۔
