Hadith 1289 — Livre 13: The Book of Forgetfulness (In Prayer)

Rapporté par Ibn Abi Laila : Ka'b bin Ujrah m'a dit : "Veux-tu que je t'offre un cadeau ?" Nous avons dit : "Ô Messager d'Allah (ﷺ), nous savons comment adresser les salutations sur toi, mais comment devons-nous adresser les prières sur toi ?" Il a dit : "Dites : 'Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala ali Muhammad, kama sallaita 'ala Ibrahima wa barik 'ala Muhammad kama barakta 'ala ali Ibrahim fil-'alamin, innaka hamidun majid.' (Ô Allah, adresse Tes prières sur Muhammad et sur la famille de Muhammad, comme Tu l'as fait pour la famille d'Ibrahim, et bénis Muhammad et la famille de Muhammad comme Tu as béni la famille d'Ibrahim parmi les nations. Tu es vraiment digne de louange, plein de gloire)

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، قَالَ قَالَ لِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عُجْرَةَ أَلاَ أُهْدِي لَكَ هَدِيَّةً قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ عَرَفْنَا كَيْفَ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ فَكَيْفَ نُصَلِّي عَلَيْكَ قَالَ " قُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn Abi Laila said:"Ka'b bin Ujrah said to me: 'Shall I not give you a gift?' We said: "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), we know about sending salams upon you, but how should we send salah upon you?" He said: 'Say: Alahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala ali Muhammad, kama sallaita 'ala Ibrahima wa barik 'ala Muhammad kama barakta 'ala ali Ibrahim fil-'alamin, innaka hamidun majid (O Allah, send salah upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent salah upon the family of Ibrahim, and send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon the family of Ibrahim among the nations. You are indeed Worthy of praise, Full of glory)
Traduction en ourdou
ابن ابی لیلیٰ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے کعب بن عجرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ کیا میں تمہیں ایک ہدیہ نہ دوں، ہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم آپ پر سلام بھیجنے کا طریقہ جان چکے ہیں، مگر ہم آپ پر صلاۃ ( درود ) کیسے بھیجیں؟ تو آپ نے فرمایا: کہو «اللہم صل على محمد وآل محمد كما صليت على آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد اللہم بارك على محمد وآل محمد كما باركت على آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد» اے اللہ! درود بھیج محمد اور آل محمد پر جیسے تو نے آل ابراہیم پر بھیجا ہے یقیناً تو حمید و مجید یعنی قابل تعریف اور بزرگی والا ہے، اے اللہ! برکتیں نازل فرما محمد پر اور آل محمد پر جیسے تو نے آل ابراہیم پر نازل فرمائی ہیں، یقیناً تو حمید و مجید یعنی قابل تعریف اور بزرگی والا ہے ۔
