Hadith 7173 — Livre 53: The Book of Paradise, its Description, its Bounties and its Inhabitants
كتاب الجنة ونعيمها وأهلها
Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « L’Enfer et le Paradis se sont disputés. L’Enfer a dit : “J’ai été choisi pour accueillir les fiers et les orgueilleux.” Le Paradis a dit : “Pourquoi les humbles, les modestes, les opprimés et les simples entrent-ils chez moi ?” Allah a alors dit au Paradis : “Tu es Ma miséricorde par laquelle J’accorde Ma miséricorde à ceux de Mes serviteurs que Je veux.” Et Il a dit à l’Enfer : “Tu es Mon châtiment par lequel Je punis ceux de Mes serviteurs que Je veux. Vous serez tous deux remplis.” L’Enfer ne sera rempli que lorsque Allah y posera Son pied. L’Enfer dira alors : “Assez, assez, assez”, et à ce moment-là il sera rempli, toutes ses parties se rejoindront. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " تَحَاجَّتِ النَّارُ وَالْجَنَّةُ فَقَالَتِ النَّارُ أُوثِرْتُ بِالْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ وَالْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ . وَقَالَتِ الْجَنَّةُ فَمَا لِي لاَ يَدْخُلُنِي إِلاَّ ضُعَفَاءُ النَّاسِ وَسَقَطُهُمْ وَعَجَزُهُمْ . فَقَالَ اللَّهُ لِلْجَنَّةِ أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِي . وَقَالَ لِلنَّارِ أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أُعَذِّبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِي وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْكُمْ مِلْؤُهَا فَأَمَّا النَّارُ فَلاَ تَمْتَلِئُ . فَيَضَعُ قَدَمَهُ عَلَيْهَا فَتَقُولُ قَطْ قَطْ . فَهُنَالِكَ تَمْتَلِئُ وَيُزْوَى بَعْضُهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as say- ing:The Hell and the Paradise fell into dispute and the Hell said: I have been dis- tinguished by the proud and the haughty. And the Paradise said: What is the matter with me that the meek and the humble amongst people and the downtrodden and the simple enter me? Thereupon Allah said to the Paradise: You are (the means) of My Mercy whereby I show mercy to those of My servants whom 1 wish, and He said to the Hell: You are (the means) of punishment whereby 1 punish those of My servants whoml wish. Both of you will be full. The Hell will riot be filled up until Allah puts down His foot in it. The Hell would say: Enough, enough, enough, and at that time it will be filled up, all its parts integrated together

ورقاء نے مجھے ابو زناد سے ، انھوں نے اعرج سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے اور انھوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " دوزخ اور جنت نے باہم ( اپنی اپنی برتری کے ) دلائل دیے دوزخ نے کہا : مجھے جبر وتکبر کرنے و الوں ( کا ٹھکانہ ہونے ) کی بناء پر ترجیح حاصل ہے ۔ جنت نے کہا : مجھے کیا ہواہے کہ میرے اندر کمزور ، خاک نشین ، اورعاجز ولاچار لوگ ہی داخل ہوں گے؟ اللہ عزوجل نے جنت سے فرمایا : تو میری رحمت ہے میں اپنے بندوں میں سے جن پر چاہوں گا تیسرے ذریعے سے رحمت کروں گا اور دوزخ سے کہا : تو میرا عذاب ہے میں اپنے بندوں میں سے جس کو چاہوں گاتمہارے ذریعے دے عذاب دوں گااور تم دونوں کے لئے اتنی ( مخلوق ) ہے جس سے تم بھر جاؤ ۔ رہی آگ تو وہ پوری طرح سے نہیں بھرے گی چنانچہ وہ ( اللہ ) اس کے اوپر اپناقدم رکھے گا تو وہ کہے گی!بس بس! اس وقت وہ بھر جائے گی اور باہم سمٹ جائے گی ۔
