Hadith 7172 — Livre 53: The Book of Paradise, its Description, its Bounties and its Inhabitants
كتاب الجنة ونعيمها وأهلها
Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Il y a eu un débat entre l’Enfer et le Paradis. L’Enfer a dit : “Les orgueilleux et les fiers trouveront refuge chez moi.” Le Paradis a dit : “Les humbles et les modestes trouveront refuge chez moi.” Alors Allah, le Très-Haut et le Glorieux, a dit à l’Enfer : “Tu es Mon châtiment par lequel Je punis ceux de Mes serviteurs que Je veux.” (Et au Paradis) Il a dit : “Tu es Ma miséricorde par laquelle J’accorde Ma miséricorde à qui Je veux.” Mais chacun de vous sera rempli. »

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " احْتَجَّتِ النَّارُ وَالْجَنَّةُ فَقَالَتْ هَذِهِ يَدْخُلُنِي الْجَبَّارُونَ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ . وَقَالَتْ هَذِهِ يَدْخُلُنِي الضُّعَفَاءُ وَالْمَسَاكِينُ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِهَذِهِ أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أُعَذِّبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ - وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ أُصِيبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ - وَقَالَ لِهَذِهِ أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْكُمَا مِلْؤُهَا " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as say- ing:There was a dispute between the Hell and the Paradise and it (the Hell) said: The haughty and the proud would find abode in me. And the Paradise said: The meek and the humble would find their abode in me. Thereupon Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, (addressing the Hell) said: You are (the means) of My punishment by which I punish those of My servants whom I wish. (And addressing the Paradise) He said: You are only My Mercy by means of which 1 shall show mercy to those whom I wish, but each one of you would be full
Traduction en ourdou
سفیان نے ابو زناد سے ، انھوں نے اعرج سے اور انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " دوزخ اور جنت میں مباحثہ ہوا تو اس ( دوزخ ) نے کہا : میرے اندر جبار اور متکبر داخل ہوں گے ۔ اور اس ( جنت ) نے کہا : میرے اندر ( اسباب دنیا ک اعتبار سے ) ضعیف اور مسکین لوگ داخل ہوں گے ۔ اللہ عزوجل نے اس ( دوزخ ) سے کہا : تم میرا عذاب ہو ، تمہارے ذریعے سے میں جنھیں چاہوں گا عذاب دوں گا ۔ یا شاید فرمایا : جنھیں چاہوں گا مبتلا کروں گا ۔ اور اس ( جنت ) سے کہا : تو میری رحمت ہے اور تمہارے ذریعے سے جس پرچاہوں گا رحم کروں گا اور تم دونوں کے لئے وہ مقدار ہوگی جو اس کو بھر دے گی ۔
