كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Aisha (la mère des croyants) رضي الله عنها : Quelqu’un a demandé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ : « Qui sont les meilleurs parmi les gens ? » Il a répondu : « Ceux de ma génération, puis ceux de la génération suivante, puis ceux de la troisième génération. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَشُجَاعُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ - عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَهِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَىُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ قَالَ " الْقَرْنُ الَّذِي أَنَا فِيهِ ثُمَّ الثَّانِي ثُمَّ الثَّالِثُ " .
Traduction anglaise
A'isha reported that a person asked Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as to who amongst the people were the best. He said:Of the generation to which I belong, then of the second generation (generation adjacent to my generation), then of the third generation (generation adjacent to the second generation)
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بہی نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، کہا : ایک آدمی نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سوال کیا کہ کون سے لوگ سب سے بہتر ہیں؟آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " اس دور میں جس میں ہوں ، پھر دوسرے ( دورکے ) ، پھر تیسرے ( دور کے ۔)
