Hadith 6477 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Imran b. Husain رضي الله عنه par une autre chaîne de transmetteurs : « La meilleure génération de cette communauté est celle à laquelle j’ai été envoyé, puis la suivante. » Il y a un ajout dans le hadith transmis par Abu 'Awana : « Et Allah sait mieux s’il a mentionné la troisième génération ou non. » Le reste du hadith est le même que celui transmis par Zahdam d’après Imran. Et dans le hadith rapporté par Hisham d’après Qatada, il y a cet ajout : « Ils prêtent serment alors qu’on ne leur a rien demandé. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الأُمَوِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي كِلاَهُمَا، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ " خَيْرُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ الْقَرْنُ الَّذِينَ بُعِثْتُ فِيهِمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ " . زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ قَالَ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ أَذَكَرَ الثَّالِثَ أَمْ لاَ . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ زَهْدَمٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ " وَيَحْلِفُونَ وَلاَ يُسْتَحْلَفُونَ " .
Traduction anglaise
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Imran b. Husain through another chain of transmitters (and the words are):The best generation of this Umma is the generation to which I have been sent, then the next one, and there is an addition in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Abu 'Awana (and the words are): And Allah knows best whether he made a mention of the third (generation) or not; the rest of the hadith is the same as transmitted by Zahdam on the authority of 'Imran. And in the hadith transmitted by Hisham on the authority of Qatada there is an addition of these words: They take an oath whereas they are not asked to take
Traduction en ourdou
ابو عوانہ اور ہشام دونوں نے قتادہ سے ، انھوں نے زرارہ بن اوفیٰ سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ، انھوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہ حدیث ( ان الفاظ میں ) روایت کی : " اس امت کے بہترین لوگ اس دور کے ہیں جس میں مجھے ان میں بھیجاگیا ہے ، پھر وہ جوان کےساتھ ( کے دور میں ) ہوں گے ۔ " ۔ ۔ ۔ ابو عوانہ کی حدیث میں مزید یہ ہے کہ ( حضرت عمران رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ) کہا : اللہ زیادہ جاننے والا ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تیسرے ( دور ) کا ذکر کیا یا نہیں ، جس طرح حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سےزہدم کی روایت کردہ حدیث ہے ۔ اور قتادہ سے ہشام کی روایت کردہ حدیث میں یہ الفاظ زائد ہیں : " وہ قسمیں کھائیں گے جبکہ ان سے قسم کھانے کا مطالبہ نہیں کیا جائے گا ۔
