كتاب اللباس والزينة
Rapporté par Jabir ibn Abdullah رضي الله عنه : Abu Qubafa a été amené devant le Prophète ﷺ le jour de la conquête de La Mecque, et sa tête et sa barbe étaient blanches comme l’hysope. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Changez cela, mais évitez le noir. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أُتِيَ بِأَبِي قُحَافَةَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَرَأْسُهُ وَلِحْيَتُهُ كَالثَّغَامَةِ بَيَاضًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " غَيِّرُوا هَذَا بِشَىْءٍ وَاجْتَنِبُوا السَّوَادَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that Abu Qubafa was led (to the andience of the Holy Prophet) on the day of the Conquest of Mecca and his head and beard were white like hyssop, whereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:Change it with something but avoid black

ابن جریج نے ابو زبیر سے ، انھوں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : فتح کہ کے دن حضرت ابوقحافہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو لایا گیا ، ان کے سر اورداڑھی کے بال سفیدی میں ثغامہ ( کے سفید پھولوں ) کی طرح تھے تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا؛ " اس ( سفیدی ) کو کسی چیز سے تبدیل کردو اور سیاہ رنگ سے اجتناب کرو ۔
