Hadith 5012 — Livre 34: The Book of Hunting, Slaughter, and what may be Eaten
كتاب الصيد والذبائح
Rapporté par 'Adi (fils de Thabit) : « J’ai entendu al-Bara' et Abdullah ibn Abu Aufa رضي الله عنه dire : “Nous avons trouvé des ânes domestiques et nous les avons cuisinés. Puis l’annonceur du Messager d’Allah ﷺ a proclamé que les marmites devaient être renversées.” »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيٍّ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَابِتٍ - قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ، وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، يَقُولاَنِ أَصَبْنَا حُمُرًا فَطَبَخْنَاهَا فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اكْفَئُوا الْقُدُورَ .
Traduction anglaise
Adi (he was the son of Thabit) said:I heard al-Bara' and 'Abdullah b. Abu Aufa say: We found domestic asses and we cooked them. Then the announcer of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) made an announcement that the earthen pots should be turned over

عدی بن ثابت نے کہا : میں نے حضرت براء اورحضرت عبداللہ بن اوفیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، دونوں کہتے تھے کہ ہم نے گدھے پکڑے ۔ ان کو پکانے لگے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے منادی نے اعلان کردیا کہ ( ان ) ہانڈیوں کو الٹ دو ۔
