Hadith 5011 — Livre 34: The Book of Hunting, Slaughter, and what may be Eaten

Rapporté par Sulaiman Shaibini : « J’ai entendu Abdullah ibn Abu Aufa رضي الله عنه dire : “Nous avons souffert de la faim pendant les nuits de Khaybar. Le jour de Khaybar, nous avons trouvé des ânes domestiques, nous les avons abattus, et alors que nos marmites bouillaient, l’annonceur du Messager d’Allah ﷺ a proclamé que les marmites devaient être renversées et que personne ne devait manger de la chair des ânes domestiques. Certains ont dit que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a interdit cette viande parce qu’un cinquième n’avait pas été remis à l’État, d’autres ont dit qu’il l’a interdite pour toujours.” »

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، فُضَيْلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ - حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، يَقُولُ أَصَابَتْنَا مَجَاعَةٌ لَيَالِيَ خَيْبَرَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ خَيْبَرَ وَقَعْنَا فِي الْحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ فَانْتَحَرْنَاهَا فَلَمَّا غَلَتْ بِهَا الْقُدُورُ نَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنِ اكْفَئُوا الْقُدُورَ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ شَيْئًا - قَالَ - فَقَالَ نَاسٌ إِنَّمَا نَهَى عَنْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَنَّهَا لَمْ تُخَمَّسْ . وَقَالَ آخَرُونَ نَهَى عَنْهَا أَلْبَتَّةَ .
Traduction anglaise
Sulaiman Shaibini reported:I heard Abdullah b. Abu Aufa say: We were smitten with hunger during the nights of Khaibar. On the Day of Khaibar, we fell upon domestic asses and we slaughtered them, and when our earthen pots boiled with them, the announcer of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) made an annoancement that the earthen pots should be turned over, and nothing should be eaten of the flesh of the domestic asses. Some of the people said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had forbidden (the use of this flesh) for one-fifth (due to the State) has not been paid, while others said: He prohibited it for ever
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالواحد بن زیاد نے کہا : ہمیں سلیمانی شیبانی نے حدیث بیا ن کی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے عبداللہ بن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ کہہ رہے تھے : جنگ خیبر کی راتوں میں ہم بھوک کاشکار ہوگئے ۔ جب خیبر کی جنگ کا دن آیا تو ہم پالتو گدھوں پر ٹوٹ پڑے جب ہماری ہانڈیاں ان کے گوشت ابلنے لگیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے منادی نے یہ اعلان کردیا کہ ہانڈیاں الٹ دو ، پالتو گدھوں کے گوشت میں سے کچھ بھی نہ کھاؤ ۔ اس وقت بعض لوگوں ( صحابہ ) نے کہا کہ ان سے اس لیے منع فرمایا ہے کہ ان کا خمس نہیں نکالا گیا اور بعض نے کہا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے قطعی طور پر منع کیا ہے ۔
