Hadith 2515 — Livre 13: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Commencez le jeûne quand vous voyez (le croissant de lune) et rompez-le quand vous le voyez, mais si le ciel est couvert pour vous, alors complétez le nombre (de trente jours). »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلاَّمٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ - عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زِيَادٍ - عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ غُمِّيَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَكْمِلُوا الْعَدَدَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Observe fast on sighting it (the new moon) and break (fast) on sighting it (the new moon), but if the sky is cloudy for you, then complete the number (of thirty)

۔ ربیع ، ابن مسلم ، عن محمد ، ابن زیاد ، حضرت ابو ہریرۃ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا تو تم چاند دیکھ کر روزہ رکھو اور چاند دیکھ کر افطار کرو اور اگر مطلع ابر آلود ہوتو تم روزوں کی تعداد پوری کرو ۔
