Hadith 7541 — Livre 97: Oneness, Uniqueness of Allah (Tawheed)
كتاب التوحيد
Et rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas : Abu Sufyan bin Harb m’a raconté qu’Héraclius a demandé son traducteur puis a demandé la lettre du Prophète (ﷺ), et celui-ci l’a lue ainsi : « Au nom d’Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux. (Cette lettre vient) de Muhammad bin 'Abdullah à Héraclius. “…Ô gens du Livre (Juifs et Chrétiens) : Venez à une parole juste entre nous et vous : que nous n’adorions qu’Allah…” (V.3:) »

وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سُفْيَانَ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، أَنَّ هِرَقْلَ، دَعَا تَرْجُمَانَهُ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِكِتَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَرَأَهُ " بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ إِلَى هِرَقْلَ، وَ{يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا إِلَى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ }" الآيَةَ.
Traduction anglaise
And Ibn 'Abbas narrated:Abu Sufyan bin Harb told me that Heraclius called for his translator and then asked for the letter of the Prophet (ﷺ), and the former read it (thus): "In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Merciful. (This letter is) from Muhammad bin 'Abdullah, to Heraclius. "...O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you that we worship none but Allah..." (V.3:)
Traduction en ourdou
اور ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے ابوسفیان بن حرب نے خبر دی کہ ہرقل نے اپنے ترجمان کو بلایا۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا خط منگوایا اور اسے پڑھا۔ شروع اللہ کے نام سے جو بہت نہایت رحم کرنے والا بڑا مہربان ہے۔ اللہ کے بندے اور اس کے رسول محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف سے ہرقل کی جانب۔ پھر یہ آیت لکھی تھی «يا أهل الكتاب تعالوا إلى كلمة سواء بيننا وبينكم» کہ ”اے کتاب والو! اس بات پر آ جاؤ جو ہم میں تم میں یکساں مانی جاتی ہے“ آخر آیت تک۔
