كتاب التمني
Rapporté par Sa`d bin Ubaid (le Mawla de `Abdur-Rahman bin Azhar) : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : Aucun de vous ne doit souhaiter la mort, car s’il est une bonne personne, il pourra augmenter ses bonnes actions, et s’il fait le mal, il pourra arrêter et se repentir

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ ـ اسْمُهُ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَزْهَرَ ـ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَتَمَنَّى أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ إِمَّا مُحْسِنًا فَلَعَلَّهُ يَزْدَادُ، وَإِمَّا مُسِيئًا فَلَعَلَّهُ يَسْتَعْتِبُ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Sa`d bin Ubaid:(the Maula of `Abdur-Rahman bin Azhar) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "None of you should long for death, for if he is a good man, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil-doer, he may stop the evil deeds and repent
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ہشام بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو معمر نے خبر دی، انہیں زہری نے، انہیں ابی عبید نے جن کا نام سعد بن عبید ہے، عبدالرحمٰن بن ازہر کے مولیٰ کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”کوئی شخص تم میں سے موت کی آرزو نہ کرے، اگر وہ نیک ہے تو ممکن ہے نیکی میں اور زیادہ ہو اور اگر برا ہے تو ممکن ہے اس سے توبہ کر لے۔“
