كتاب الأيمان والنذور
Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar : ‘Umar a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, j’ai fait vœu, à l’époque de l’ignorance, de faire une retraite d’une nuit dans la Mosquée sacrée. » Il dit : « Accomplis ton vœu. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ أَنْ أَعْتَكِفَ لَيْلَةً فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ. قَالَ " أَوْفِ بِنَذْرِكَ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:`Umar said "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I vowed to perform I`tikaf for one night in Al-Masjid-al-Haram, during the Pre-Islamic Period of ignorance (before embracing Islam). "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Fulfill your vow." Ibn `Umar said to the lady, "Pray on her behalf." Ibn `Abbas said the same
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابوالحسن محمد بن مقاتل نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو عبداللہ نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو عبیداللہ بن عمرو نے خبر دی، انہیں نافع نے، انہیں ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں نے جاہلیت میں نذر مانی تھی کہ مسجد الحرام میں ایک رات کا اعتکاف کروں گا؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اپنی نذر پوری کر۔
