Hadith 6431 — Livre 81: To make the Heart Tender (Ar-Riqaq)

Rapporté par Qais : Je suis allé voir Khabbab pendant qu’il construisait un mur, et il a dit : « Nos compagnons qui sont partis de ce monde n’ont rien profité de leur récompense ici-bas, alors que nous avons accumulé après eux beaucoup de richesses que nous ne pouvons utiliser que pour la terre (c’est-à-dire pour construire). »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ خَبَّابًا وَهْوَ يَبْنِي حَائِطًا لَهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَصْحَابَنَا الَّذِينَ مَضَوْا لَمْ تَنْقُصْهُمُ الدُّنْيَا شَيْئًا، وَإِنَّا أَصَبْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ شَيْئًا، لاَ نَجِدُ لَهُ مَوْضِعًا إِلاَّ التُّرَابَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Qais:I came to Khabbab while he was building a wall, and he (Khabbab) said, "Our companions who have left this world, did not enjoy anything of their reward therein, while we have collected after them, much wealth that we cannot spend but on earth (i.e., on building)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمد بن مثنیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یحییٰ قطان نے بیان کیا، ان سے اسماعیل بن ابی خالد نے، ان سے قیس بن ابی حازم نے کہا کہ میں خباب بن ارت رضی اللہ عنہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، وہ اپنے مکان کی دیوار بنوا رہے تھے، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارے ساتھی جو گزر گئے دنیا نے ان کے نیک اعمال میں سے کچھ کمی نہیں کی لیکن ان کے بعد ہم کو اتنا پیسہ ملا کہ ہم اس کو کہاں خرچ کریں بس اس مٹی اور پانی یعنی عمارت میں ہم کو اسے خرچ کا موقع ملا ہے۔
