Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لأَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ جَوْفُ رَجُلٍ قَيْحًا يَرِيهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ شِعْرًا ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ); said, "It is better for anyone of you that the inside of his body be filled with pus which may consume his body, than it be filled with poetry

ہم سے عمر بن حفص بن غیاث نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا مجھ سے میرے والد نے بیان کیا، انہوں کہا ہم سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے ابوصالح سے سنا اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے فرمایا ”اگر تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنا پیٹ پیپ سے بھر لے تو یہ اس سے بہتر ہے کہ وہ شعروں سے بھر جائے۔“
