Hadith 6124 — Livre 78: Good Manners and Form (Al-Adab)

Rapporté par Abu Musa : Lorsque le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) l’a envoyé avec Mu`adh bin Jabal au Yémen, il leur a dit : « Facilitez la vie aux gens (traitez-les de la meilleure façon possible), ne leur compliquez pas les choses, annoncez-leur de bonnes nouvelles et ne les repoussez pas (c’est-à-dire ne rendez pas les bonnes actions détestables). Travaillez ensemble dans la coopération et la compréhension mutuelle, obéissez-vous l’un à l’autre. » Abu Musa a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Nous sommes dans une région où l’on prépare une boisson appelée Al Bit’ à base de miel, et une autre appelée Al-Mizr à base d’orge. » Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a répondu : « Toutes les boissons enivrantes (c’est-à-dire toutes les boissons alcoolisées) sont interdites. »

حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ لَمَّا بَعَثَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَمُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ قَالَ لَهُمَا " يَسِّرَا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرَا، وَبَشِّرَا وَلاَ تُنَفِّرَا، وَتَطَاوَعَا ". قَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ يُصْنَعُ فِيهَا شَرَابٌ مِنَ الْعَسَلِ، يُقَالُ لَهُ الْبِتْعُ، وَشَرَابٌ مِنَ الشَّعِيرِ، يُقَالُ لَهُ الْمِزْرُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Musa:that when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent him and Mu`adh bin Jabal to Yemen, he said to them, "Facilitate things for the people (treat the people in the most agreeable way), and do not make things difficult for them, and give them glad tidings, and let them not have aversion (i.e. to make the people hate good deeds) and you should both work in cooperation and mutual understanding, obey each other." Abu Musa said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! We are in a land in which a drink named Al Bit' is prepared from honey, and another drink named Al-Mizr is prepared from barley." On that, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "All intoxicants (i.e. all alcoholic drinks) are prohibited

مجھ سے اسحاق نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے نضر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو شعبہ نے خبر دی، انہیں سعید بن ابی بردہ نے، انہیں ان کے والد نے اور ان سے ان کے دادا نے بیان کیا کہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں ( ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ ) اور معاذ بن جبل کو ( یمن ) بھیجا تو ان سے فرمایا کہ ( لوگوں کے لیے ) آسانیاں پیدا کرنا، تنگی میں نہ ڈالنا، انہیں خوشخبری سنانا، دین سے نفرت نہ دلانا اور تم دونوں آپس میں اتفاق سے کام کرنا، ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہم ایسی سر زمین میں جا رہے ہیں جہاں شہد سے شراب بنائی جاتی ہے اور اسے «بتع» کہا جاتا ہے اور جَو سے شراب بنائی جاتی ہے اور اسے «مزر.» کہا جاتا ہے؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہر نشہ لانے والی چیز حرام ہے۔
