Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : À propos du verset : « Cruel après tout cela, de naissance illégitime. » (68.13) Ce verset a été révélé à propos d’un homme de Quraych qui portait une marque distinctive (Zanamah), semblable à celle qu’on attache habituellement au cou d’un mouton pour l’identifier

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ {عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ زَنِيمٍ} قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ لَهُ زَنَمَةٌ مِثْلُ زَنَمَةِ الشَّاةِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:(regarding the Verse):-- 'Cruel after all that, base-born (of illegitimate birth).' (68.13) It was revealed in connection with a man from Quaraish who had a notable sign (Zanamah) similar to the notable sign which usually-hung on the neck of a sheep (to recognize it)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمود نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبیداللہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے اسرائیل نے، ان سے ابوحصین نے، ان سے مجاہد نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے آیت «عتل بعد ذلك زنيم» یعنی ”وہ ظالم سخت مزاج ہے اس کے علاوہ حرامی بھی ہے۔“ کے متعلق فرمایا کہ یہ آیت قریش کے ایک شخص کے بارے میں ہوئی تھی اس کی گردن میں نشانی تھی جیسے بکری میں نشانی ہوتی ہے کہ بعض ان میں کا کوئی عضو بڑھا ہوا ہوتا ہے۔
