Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : La dernière parole d’Abraham lorsqu’il fut jeté dans le feu fut : « Allah nous suffit et Il est le meilleur garant pour nous. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ آخِرَ قَوْلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حِينَ أُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:The last statement of Abraham when he was thrown into the fire was:--"Allah is Sufficient for us and He is the Best Disposer (of affairs for us)

ہم سے مالک بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اسرائیل نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوحصین نے، ان سے ابوالضحیٰ نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ جب ابراہیم علیہ السلام کو آگ میں ڈالا گیا تو آخری کلمہ جو آپ کی زبان مبارک سے نکلا «حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل.» تھا یعنی میری مدد کے لیے اللہ کافی ہے اور وہی بہترین کام بنانے والا ہے۔
