كتاب تفسير النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : « Allah nous suffit et Il est le meilleur garant » a été prononcé par Abraham lorsqu’il fut jeté dans le feu ; et cela a aussi été dit par Muhammad lorsque les hypocrites ont dit : « Une grande armée se rassemble contre vous, alors craignez-les », mais cela n’a fait qu’augmenter leur foi et ils ont dit : « Allah nous suffit, et Il est le meilleur garant pour nous. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ـ أُرَاهُ قَالَ ـ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، {حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ} قَالَهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ حِينَ أُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ، وَقَالَهَا مُحَمَّدٌ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ قَالُوا {إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ}
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:'Allah is Sufficient for us and He Is the Best Disposer of affairs," was said by Abraham when he was thrown into the fire; and it was said by Muhammad when they (i.e. hypocrites) said, "A great army is gathering against you, therefore, fear them," but it only increased their faith and they said: "Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer (of affairs, for us)

ہم سے احمد بن یونس نے بیان کیا، میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ انہوں نے یہ کہا کہ ہم سے ابوبکر شعبہ بن عیاش نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوحصین عثمان بن عاصم نے اور ان سے ابوالضحیٰ نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ کلمہ «حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل» ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے کہا تھا، اس وقت جب ان کو آگ میں ڈالا گیا تھا اور یہی کلمہ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس وقت کہا تھا جب لوگوں نے مسلمانوں کو ڈرانے کے لیے کہا تھا کہ لوگوں ( یعنی قریش ) نے تمہارے خلاف بڑا سامان جنگ اکٹھا کر رکھا ہے، ان سے ڈرو لیکن اس بات نے ان مسلمانوں کا ( جوش ) ایمان اور بڑھا دیا اور یہ مسلمان بولے کہ ہمارے لیے اللہ کافی ہے اور وہی بہترین کام بنانے والا ہے۔
