Texte arabe original
وَقَالَ اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ صُعَيْرٍ، وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ مَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin Tha`laba bin Su`air whose face was rubbed by the Prophet during the year of the Conquest (of Makkah)

اور لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ مجھ سے یونس نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابن شہاب نے ‘ کہا مجھ کو عبداللہ بن ثعلبی بن صعیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فتح مکہ کے دن ان کے چہرے پر ( شفقت کی راہ سے ) ہاتھ پھیرا تھا۔
