Rapporté par ‘Ikrima : Ibn ‘Abbas a dit : « Nous sommes restés 19 jours avec le Prophète lors d’un voyage, et nous faisions la prière raccourcie. » Ibn ‘Abbas a ajouté : « Nous faisons la prière Qasr (c’est-à-dire raccourcie) si nous restons jusqu’à 19 jours en tant que voyageurs. Mais si nous restons plus longtemps, nous faisons la prière complète. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ أَقَمْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَفَرٍ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ نَقْصُرُ الصَّلاَةَ. وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَنَحْنُ نَقْصُرُ مَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ، فَإِذَا زِدْنَا أَتْمَمْنَا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Ikrima:Ibn `Abbas said, "We stayed for 19 days with the Prophet on a journey during which we used to offer shortened prayers." Ibn `Abbas added, "We offer the Qasr prayer (i.e. shortened prayer) If we stay up to 19 days as travelers, But if we stay longer, we offer complete prayers

ہم سے احمد بن یونس نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے ابوشہاب نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے عاصم نے ‘ ان سے عکرمہ نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ سفر میں ( فتح مکہ کے بعد ) انیس دن تک تو نماز قصر پڑھتے تھے ‘ لیکن جب اس سے زیادہ مدت گزر جاتی تو پھر پوری نماز پڑھتے تھے۔
