Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Quand nous avons conquis Khaybar, nous n’avons pas eu d’or ni d’argent comme butin, mais nous avons eu des vaches, des chameaux, des biens et des jardins. Ensuite, nous sommes partis avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) vers la vallée d’Al-Qira. À ce moment-là, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) avait un esclave appelé Mid`am, qui lui avait été offert par quelqu’un de Banu Ad-Dibbab. Pendant que l’esclave enlevait la selle du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), une flèche, dont on ne connaissait pas l’auteur, l’a touché. Les gens ont dit : « Félicitations à lui pour le martyre. » Le Messager d’Allah a dit : « Non, par Celui qui détient mon âme dans Sa main, le drap qu’il avait pris illégalement le jour de Khaybar, avant la distribution du butin, est devenu une flamme de feu qui le brûle. » En entendant cela, un homme a apporté une ou deux lanières de chaussures au Prophète et a dit : « Ce sont des choses que j’ai prises illégalement. » Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Ceci est une lanière, ou ce sont deux lanières de feu. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ مُطِيعٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ افْتَتَحْنَا خَيْبَرَ، وَلَمْ نَغْنَمْ ذَهَبًا وَلاَ فِضَّةً، إِنَّمَا غَنِمْنَا الْبَقَرَ وَالإِبِلَ وَالْمَتَاعَ وَالْحَوَائِطَ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى وَادِي الْقُرَى، وَمَعَهُ عَبْدٌ لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهُ مِدْعَمٌ، أَهْدَاهُ لَهُ أَحَدُ بَنِي الضِّبَابِ، فَبَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَحُطُّ رَحْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذْ جَاءَهُ سَهْمٌ عَائِرٌ حَتَّى أَصَابَ ذَلِكَ الْعَبْدَ، فَقَالَ النَّاسُ هَنِيئًا لَهُ الشَّهَادَةُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " بَلَى وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، إِنَّ الشَّمْلَةَ الَّتِي أَصَابَهَا يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ مِنَ الْمَغَانِمِ لَمْ تُصِبْهَا الْمَقَاسِمُ لَتَشْتَعِلُ عَلَيْهِ نَارًا ". فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ حِينَ سَمِعَ ذَلِكَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِشِرَاكٍ أَوْ بِشِرَاكَيْنِ، فَقَالَ هَذَا شَىْءٌ كُنْتُ أَصَبْتُهُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " شِرَاكٌ أَوْ شِرَاكَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:When we conquered Khaibar, we gained neither gold nor silver as booty, but we gained cows, camels, goods and gardens. Then we departed with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) to the valley of Al-Qura, and at that time Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had a slave called Mid`am who had been presented to him by one of Banu Ad-Dibbab. While the slave was dismounting the saddle of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) an arrow the thrower of which was unknown, came and hit him. The people said, "Congratulations to him for the martyrdom." Allah's Apostle said, "No, by Him in Whose Hand my soul is, the sheet (of cloth) which he had taken (illegally) on the day of Khaibar from the booty before the distribution of the booty, has become a flame of Fire burning him." On hearing that, a man brought one or two leather straps of shoes to the Prophet and said, "These are things I took (illegally)." On that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "This is a strap, or these are two straps of Fire

ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے معاویہ بن عمرو نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ابواسحاق نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے امام مالک بن انس نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ثور نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے ابن مطیع کے مولیٰ سالم نے بیان کیا اور انہوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ‘ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ جب خیبر فتح ہوا تو مال غنیمت میں سونا اور چاندی نہیں ملا تھا بلکہ گائے ‘ اونٹ ‘ سامان اور باغات ملے تھے پھر ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ وادی القریٰ کی طرف لوٹے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک مدعم نامی غلام تھا جو بنی ضباب کے ایک صحابی نے آپ کو ہدیہ میں دیا تھا۔ وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا کجاوہ اتار رہا تھا کہ کسی نامعلوم سمت سے ایک تیر آ کر ان کے لگا۔ لوگوں نے کہا مبارک ہو: شہادت! لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہرگز نہیں ‘ اس ذات کی قسم! جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے جو چادر اس نے خیبر میں تقسیم سے پہلے مال غنیمت میں سے چرائی تھی وہ اس پر آگ کا شعلہ بن کر بھڑک رہی ہے۔ یہ سن کر ایک دوسرے صحابی ایک یا دو تسمے لے کر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا کہ یہ میں نے اٹھا لیے تھے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یہ بھی جہنم کا تسمہ بنتا۔
