Rapporté par Ghailan bin Jarir : Nous rendions visite à Anas bin Malik et il nous parlait des Ansar, et il me disait : « Ton peuple a fait ceci et cela tel jour, et ton peuple a fait cela tel autre jour. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ، قَالَ غَيْلاَنُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ كُنَّا نَأْتِي أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ فَيُحَدِّثُنَا عَنِ الأَنْصَارِ،، وَكَانَ، يَقُولُ لِي فَعَلَ قَوْمُكَ كَذَا وَكَذَا يَوْمَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، وَفَعَلَ قَوْمُكَ كَذَا وَكَذَا يَوْمَ كَذَا وَكَذَا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ghailan bin Jarir:We used to visit Anas bin Malik and he used to talk to us about the Ansar, and used to say to me: "Your people did so-and-so on such-and-such a day, and your people did so-and-so on such-and-such a day

ہم سے ابوالنعمان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے مہدی نے بیان کیا انہوں نے کہا کہ غیلان بن جریر نے بیان کیا کہ ہم انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوتے تھے۔ وہ ہم سے انصار کے متعلق بیان فرمایا کرتے تھے اور مجھ سے فرماتے کہ تمہاری قوم نے فلاں موقع پر یہ کارنامہ انجام دیا، فلاں موقع پر یہ کارنامہ انجام دیا۔
