Hadith 3737 — Livre 62: Companions of the Prophet
كتاب فضائل أصحاب النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par Harmala, l’esclave affranchi de Usama bin Zaid : Il a dit qu’il était en compagnie de 'Abdullah bin 'Umar quand Al-Hajjaj bin Aiman est arrivé et, en priant, il n’a pas bien fait l’inclinaison et la prosternation. Ibn 'Umar lui a donc demandé de recommencer sa prière. Quand il est parti, Ibn 'Umar m’a demandé : « Qui est-ce ? » J’ai répondu : « Al-Hajjaj bin Um Aiman. » Ibn 'Umar a dit : « Si le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) le voyait, il l’aimerait. » Puis Ibn 'Umar a parlé de l’amour du Prophète (ﷺ) pour les enfants de Um Aiman. Sulaiman a précisé que Um Aiman était l’une des nourrices du Prophète

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَحَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَمِرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ، مَوْلَى أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ إِذْ دَخَلَ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَيْمَنَ فَلَمْ يُتِمَّ رُكُوعَهُ وَلاَ سُجُودَهُ، فَقَالَ أَعِدْ. فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ لِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ مَنْ هَذَا قُلْتُ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَيْمَنَ ابْنِ أُمِّ أَيْمَنَ. فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَوْ رَأَى هَذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَحَبَّهُ، فَذَكَرَ حُبَّهُ وَمَا وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ. قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِي عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ وَكَانَتْ حَاضِنَةَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Traduction anglaise
Harmala, the freed slave of Usama bin Zaid said that while he was in the company of 'Abdullah bin 'Umar, Al-Hajjaj bin Aiman came in and (while praying) he did not perform his bowing and prostrations properly. So Ibn 'Umar told him to repeat his prayer. When he went away, Ibn 'Umar asked me, "Who is he?" I said, "Al-Hajjaj bin Um Aiman." Ibn 'Umar said, "If Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saw him, he would have loved him." Then Ibn 'Umar mentioned the love of the Prophet (ﷺ) for the children of Um Aiman. Sulaiman said that Um Aiman was one of the nurses of the Prophet

ابوعبداللہ (امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ) نے کہا کہ مجھ سے سلیمان بن عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ولید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالرحمٰن بن نمر نے بیان کیا، ان سے زہری نے، ان سے اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہما کے مولیٰ حرملہ نے بیان کیا کہ وہ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کی خدمت میں حاضر تھے کہ حجاج بن ایمن ( مسجد کے ) اندر آئے نہ انہوں نے رکوع پوری طرح ادا کیا تھا اور نہ سجدہ۔ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ان سے فرمایا کہ نماز دوبارہ پڑھ لو۔ پھر جب وہ جانے لگے تو انہوں نے مجھ سے پوچھا کہ یہ کون ہیں؟ میں نے عرض کیا حجاج بن ایمن ابن ام ایمن ہیں۔ اس پر آپ نے کہا اگر انہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دیکھتے تو بہت عزیز رکھتے، پھر آپ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ اور ام ایمن رضی اللہ عنہا کی تمام اولاد سے محبت کا ذکر کیا۔ امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ نے بیان کیا کہ مجھ سے میرے بعض اساتذہ نے بیان کیا اور ان سے سلیمان نے کہ ام ایمن رضی اللہ عنہا نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو گود لیا تھا۔
