كتاب فضائل أصحاب النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par l’esclave affranchi de Usama bin Zaid : « Al-Hajjaj bin Aiman bin Um Aiman et Aiman Ibn Um Aiman étaient les frères maternels de Usama, et il faisait partie des Ansar. Ibn 'Umar l’a vu accomplir sa prière sans bien faire l’inclinaison et la prosternation. Alors Ibn 'Umar lui a demandé de recommencer sa prière. »

وَقَالَ نُعَيْمٌ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَوْلًى، لأُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ. أَنَّ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ أَيْمَنَ ابْنِ أُمِّ أَيْمَنَ،، وَكَانَ، أَيْمَنُ ابْنُ أُمِّ أَيْمَنَ أَخَا أُسَامَةَ لأُمِّهِ، وَهْوَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ، فَرَآهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَمْ يُتِمَّ رُكُوعَهُ وَلاَ سُجُودَهُ فَقَالَ أَعِدْ.
Traduction anglaise
The freed slave of Usama bin Zaid said, "Al-Hajjaj bin Aiman bin Um Aiman and Aiman Ibn Um Aiman was Usama's brother from the maternal side, and he was one of the Ansar. He was seen by Ibn 'Umar not performing his bowing and prostrations in a perfect manner. So Ibn 'Umar told him to repeat his prayer

اور نعیم نے کہا ان سے ابن مبارک نے بیان کیا، انہیں معمر نے خبر دی، انہیں زہری نے، انہیں اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہما کے ایک مولیٰ (حرملہ) نے خبر دی کہ حجاج بن ایمن بن ام ایمن کو عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے دیکھا ( نماز میں ) انہوں نے رکوع اور سجدہ پوری طرح نہیں ادا کیا، ( ایمن ابن ام ایمن، اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی ماں کی طرف سے بھائی تھے، ایمن رضی اللہ عنہ قبیلہ انصار کے ایک فرد تھے ) تو ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ان سے کہا کہ ( نماز ) دوبارہ پڑھ لو۔
