Hadith 704 — Livre 10: Call to Prayers (Adhaan)
كتاب الأذان
Rapporté par Abu Mas`ud : Un homme est venu et a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Je ne viens pas à la prière du matin parce qu’untel (l’imam) la rend trop longue. » Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est mis en colère, et je ne l’ai jamais vu plus en colère que ce jour-là. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Ô gens ! Certains d’entre vous font détester la prière aux autres. Donc, celui qui devient imam doit raccourcir la prière, car il y a derrière lui des faibles, des personnes âgées et des nécessiteux. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَتَأَخَّرُ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ فِي الْفَجْرِ مِمَّا يُطِيلُ بِنَا فُلاَنٌ فِيهَا. فَغَضِبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا رَأَيْتُهُ غَضِبَ فِي مَوْضِعٍ كَانَ أَشَدَّ غَضَبًا مِنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ مُنَفِّرِينَ، فَمَنْ أَمَّ النَّاسَ فَلْيَتَجَوَّزْ، فَإِنَّ خَلْفَهُ الضَّعِيفَ وَالْكَبِيرَ وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Mas`ud:A man came and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I keep away from the morning prayer because so-and-so (Imam) prolongs it too much." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) became furious and I had never seen him more furious than he was on that day. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O people! Some of you make others dislike the prayer, so whoever becomes an Imam he should shorten the prayer, as behind him are the weak, the old and the needy
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمد بن یوسف فریابی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سفیان ثوری نے بیان کیا اسماعیل بن ابی خالد سے، انہوں نے قیس بن ابی حازم سے، انہوں نے ابومسعود انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ سے، آپ نے فرمایا کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! میں فجر کی نماز میں تاخیر کر کے اس لیے شریک ہوتا ہوں کہ فلاں صاحب فجر کی نماز بہت طویل کر دیتے ہیں۔ اس پر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس قدر غصہ ہوئے کہ میں نے نصیحت کے وقت اس دن سے زیادہ غضب ناک آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کبھی نہیں دیکھا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا لوگو! تم میں بعض لوگ ( نماز سے لوگوں کو ) دور کرنے کا باعث ہیں۔ پس جو شخص امام ہو اسے ہلکی نماز پڑھنی چاہئے اس لیے کہ اس کے پیچھے کمزور، بوڑھے اور ضرورت والے سب ہی ہوتے ہیں۔
