Hadith 4401 — Livre 40: Prescribed Punishments (Kitab Al-Hudud)

Rapporté par Ali ibn AbuTalib رضي الله عنه : Ibn Abbas a dit : Une femme atteinte de folie est passée devant Ali ibn AbuTalib. Il a ensuite raconté le reste de la tradition dans le même sens que ce qu’a rapporté Uthman. Cette version précise : « Ne vous souvenez-vous pas que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : Il y a trois personnes dont les actes ne sont pas inscrits : une personne folle dont l’esprit est troublé jusqu’à ce qu’elle retrouve la raison, une personne qui dort jusqu’à son réveil, et un garçon jusqu’à ce qu’il atteigne la puberté ? »

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ مُرَّ عَلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رضى الله عنه بِمَعْنَى عُثْمَانَ . قَالَ أَوَمَا تَذْكُرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلاَثَةٍ عَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ الْمَغْلُوبِ عَلَى عَقْلِهِ حَتَّى يُفِيقَ وَعَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنِ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَحْتَلِمَ " . قَالَ صَدَقْتَ قَالَ فَخَلَّى عَنْهَا سَبِيلَهَا .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib: Ibn Abbas said: A lunatic woman passed by Ali ibn AbuTalib. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as Uthman mentioned. This version has: Do you not remember that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has said: There are three whose actions are not recorded: a lunatic whose mind is deranged till he is restored to consciousness, a sleeper till he awakes, and a boy till he reaches puberty?

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ اسے علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس سے گزارا گیا، آگے اسی طرح جیسے عثمان بن ابی شیبہ کی روایت کا مفہوم ہے، اس میں ہے: کیا آپ کو یاد نہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے: قلم تین آدمیوں سے اٹھا لیا گیا ہے: مجنون سے جس کی عقل جاتی رہے یہاں تک کہ صحت یاب ہو جائے، سوئے ہوئے شخص سے یہاں تک کہ وہ بیدار ہو جائے، بچے سے یہاں تک کہ وہ بالغ ہو جائے تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ بولے: تم نے سچ کہا، پھر انہوں نے اسے چھوڑ دیا۔
