Hadith 454 — Livre 2: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)

Rapporté par Anas b. Malik رضي الله عنه : La mosquée (du Prophète) a été construite sur le terrain des Banu al-Najjar qui contenait des cultures, des palmiers et des tombes de mécréants. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Vendez-la-moi pour un prix. » Ils (les Banu al-Najjar) ont répondu : « Nous ne voulons rien (en échange). » Les palmiers ont été coupés, les cultures enlevées et les tombes des mécréants ouvertes. Il a ensuite raconté la suite du récit. Mais cette version utilise le mot « pardonne » dans le vers, au lieu de « aide ». Musa a dit : ‘Abd al-Warith a aussi rapporté ce récit de la même manière. La version de ‘Abd al-Warith utilise le mot « tas d’ordures » (au lieu de culture), et il a précisé qu’il a raconté ce récit à Hammad

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كَانَ مَوْضِعُ الْمَسْجِدِ حَائِطًا لِبَنِي النَّجَّارِ فِيهِ حَرْثٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَقُبُورُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " ثَامِنُونِي بِهِ " . فَقَالُوا لاَ نَبْغِي بِهِ ثَمَنًا . فَقُطِعَ النَّخْلُ وَسُوِّيَ الْحَرْثُ وَنُبِشَ قُبُورُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ " فَاغْفِرْ " . مَكَانَ " فَانْصُرْ " . قَالَ مُوسَى وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بِنَحْوِهِ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ يَقُولُ خِرَبٌ وَزَعَمَ عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ أَنَّهُ أَفَادَ حَمَّادًا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ .
Traduction anglaise
Anas b. Malik said:The Mosque (of the Prophet) was built in the land of Banu al-Najjar which contained crops, palm trees and graves of the disbelievers. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Sell it to me for some price. They (Banu al-Najjar) replied: We do not want (any price). The palm-trees were cut off, and the crops removed and the graves of the disbelievers dug opened. He then narrated the rest of the tradition. But this version has the word "forgive" in the verse, instead of the word "help". Musa said: 'Abd al-Warith also narrated this tradition in a like manner. The version of 'Abd al-Warith has the word "dung-hill" (instead of crop), and he asserted that he narrated this tradition to Hammad

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ مسجد نبوی کی جگہ پر قبیلہ بنو نجار کا ایک باغ تھا، اس میں کچھ کھیت، کچھ کھجور کے درخت اور مشرکوں کی قبریں تھیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: مجھ سے اس کی قیمت لے لو ، انہوں نے کہا: ہم اس کی قیمت نہیں چاہتے، تو کھجور کے درخت کاٹے گئے، کھیت برابر کئے گئے اور مشرکین کی قبریں کھدوائی گئیں، پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث بیان کی، مگر اس حدیث میں لفظ «فانصر» کی جگہ لفظ «فاغفر» ہے ( یعنی اے اللہ! تو انصار و مہاجرین کو بخش دے ) ۔ موسیٰ نے کہا: ہم سے عبدالوارث نے بھی اسی طرح بیان کیا ہے اور عبدالوارث «خرث» کے بجائے «خرب» ( ویرانے ) کی روایت کرتے ہیں، عبدالوارث کا کہنا ہے کہ انہوں نے ہی حماد سے یہ حدیث بیان کی ہے۔
