Rapporté par Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib رضي الله عنه : Un homme est venu voir le Prophète ﷺ et a dit : « Messager d’Allah, ils te demandent un avis juridique sur le kalalah. Qu’est-ce que le kalalah ? » Il a répondu : « Le verset révélé en été te suffit. » J’ai demandé à Abu Ishaq : « Cela désigne-t-il quelqu’un qui meurt sans laisser d’enfants ni de père ? » Il a répondu : « Oui, c’est cela. Les gens pensent que c’est ainsi. »

حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ فِي الْكَلاَلَةِ فَمَا الْكَلاَلَةُ قَالَ " تُجْزِيكَ آيَةُ الصَّيْفِ " . فَقُلْتُ لأَبِي إِسْحَاقَ هُوَ مَنْ مَاتَ وَلَمْ يَدَعْ وَلَدًا وَلاَ وَالِدًا قَالَ كَذَلِكَ ظَنُّوا أَنَّهُ كَذَلِكَ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Al-Bara' ibn Azib: A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: Messenger of Allah, they ask thee for a legal decision about a kalalah. What is meant by kalalah? He replied: The verse revealed in summer is sufficient for you. I asked AbuIshaq: Does it mean a person who dies and leaves neither children nor father? He said: This is so. The people think it is so
Traduction en ourdou
براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور اس نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول!«يستفتونك في الكلالة» میں کلالہ سے کیا مراد ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: آیت «صيف» ۱؎ تمہارے لیے کافی ہے۔ ابوبکر کہتے ہیں: میں نے ابواسحاق سے کہا: کلالہ وہی ہے نا جو نہ اولاد چھوڑے نہ والد؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہاں، لوگوں نے ایسا ہی سمجھا ہے۔
