كتاب الطهارة
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه : Nous ne nous lavions pas les pieds après avoir marché sur quelque chose d’impur, et nous ne tenions pas nos cheveux ni nos vêtements pendant la prière. Abu Dawud a dit : Ce hadith a été rapporté par Ibrahim ibn Abi Mu’awiyah à travers une autre chaîne : A’mash – Shaqiq – Masruq – ‘Abd Allah (ibn Mas’ud). Et Hannad a rapporté de Shaqiq, ou sur son autorité, disant : ‘Abd Allah (ibn Mas’ud) a dit

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي شَرِيكٌ، وَجَرِيرٌ، وَابْنُ، إِدْرِيسَ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ كُنَّا لاَ نَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ مَوْطِئٍ وَلاَ نَكُفُّ شَعْرًا وَلاَ ثَوْبًا . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ فِيهِ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ أَوْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَقَالَ هَنَّادٌ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ أَوْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْهُ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: We would not wash our feet after treading on something unclean, nor would we hold our hair and garments (during prayer). Abu Dawud said: The tradition has been reported by Ibrahim b. Abi Mu'awiyah through a different chain of narrators: A'mash - Shaqiq - Masruq - 'Abd Allah (b. Mas'ud). And Hannad reported from Shaqiq, or reported on his authority saying: 'Abd Allah (b. Mas'ud) said

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم راستہ میں چل کر پاؤں نہیں دھلتے تھے، اور نہ ہی ہم بالوں اور کپڑوں کو سمیٹتے تھے ( یعنی اسی طرح نماز پڑھ لیتے تھے ) ۔
